In 2001, two churches (Charlotte North Fellowship and Journey Church) started in two different movie theaters in the Lake Norman area. They shared a similar heart and vision for serving the community, reaching out to people who were skeptical of religion, and helping people discover a life-changing connection with God.
In 2008 both churches decided to join together, and on August 3, 2008 the new Journey Church was born. After only seven years, Journey Church is home to over 500 people and is building a 16,000 square foot building on 12 acres of land at Exit 25 in Huntersville. It is exciting to dream about the mission and the future of Journey Church as God uses this group of ordinary people to make an extraordinary impact in the Lake Norman area in the days ahead.
Journey is a living dream - a place to connect with God and connect with each other as we experience the journey of life together.
