2018 – It’s all NEW

In 2018 – Everything is going to be NEW.
Why? Because that’s my word for the year. A month or so ago I was praying about what 2018 would look like for me personally and for me as I continue to lead this amazing church we all love. It didn’t take God long to remind me of the scripture that is now the foundation for our NEW vision statement.
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
I’m not the same man I was in 2016. I won’t be the same man I am today next year. It’s all NEW.
That’s what is so awesome about our relationship with Christ. He is always making things NEW in our lives as we partner together, grow in our faith, serve our neighbors/community, and lead our friends to absolute hope!
Our NEW LIFE is a Gift from God. That’s why we will be starting 2018 with a series called GIFTED. I’m also releasing a book entitled “GIFTED: Unleash the Strength Within” to accompany the series. The e-book will drop (Lord willing) on January 2nd on Amazon and the printed version should be available mid-January at Journey and on Amazon.
God has some other NEW things in store for Journey Church as we launch into 2018.
