Dirty Words: Suffering
Suffering may be the dirtiest word in our series. It exposes the cost of following Jesus more than any other, and no one signs up for it. We quietly believe that doing right should buy us a pain-free life.
But Pastor Matt reminded us that Jesus never said we might have trials and sorrows. He said we will. And He also said to take heart, because He has overcome the world. (John 16:33)
